We are the women of the bible

Sometimes I think that we as women think the women of the bible as super heroes,but in reality they are just women who decided to to step out of just surviving and into a reval that only happens when you jump into your faith with both feet! Thr are so many amazing women that yes we can look up to for inspiration or hope but why have we stopped looking at our own lives like this?
I believe we are all mighty woman of the bible,because we believe in the bible and the truth,  strength, peace and promise it has to offer us.

I appreciate God giving us examples of mighty Christian women. I really do,but I know he made me and you to be mighty overcoming women! Ladies we have the holy spirit living in us!! We have the power to preform miracles. Even if that miracle is getting the laundry done on time or the kids out the door. Your story is a story of survival to reval!

Balance and peace when it comes to dreams

In life we have a tendency to be all over the place and then wonder why we are not happy or fill fulfilled. I feel like im starting to understand the why to this question. We set our own goals in life then stick a "God approved" sticker on them. But in reality they are our wants and since we have a Christian label we call it "his will" when we are leaving him completely out of it.

It is good to dream,but we need to dream God dreams. What mean by this is,pray for God to fill your heart with his will for your life. And then be willing to follow his time line. Not your time line. Our God is no slow poke. He has a reason to his timing. And if we rush or become lazy the result will be a human result not a heavenly result. I want big things for my life. But more than that I want God things for my life. I know the world tells us that if you want something go after it. But if you want something pray about it!!! God will tell you what to do. He will show you the path to get it. Trust, pray, act, pray, thank. Should be our way of action for dreams or goals.

Also understand that bumps will come along the way. That's life and part of being human. We hit bumps. But bumps can turn into blessings at any moment. I thought I hit a bump when the guy I was dating turned into a bad situation,but God was getting ready to have my husband come into my life. Sometimes God has to clear out a lot of stuff before the dream can happen. Stay strong and focused in this time. Its actually a great time in your life. It's a time to spend some quality time with God and yourself. When you know God and you better, life gets better.

Finally, I know having a dream can be exciting, so stay excited! Love life and the blessings that happen every day!

Blessed or not blessed that is the question

My husband read an article last last night that stated that Christians shouldn't say we are blessed when it comes to a job, house, ect...

I find fault in thia because the whole reason for the article was to show us that God bless' us with grace mercy love life and the list goes on. But where I find myself disagreeing is God is not limited to any perticular way to bless us. And we should thank him and acknowledge what he does for us everyday. Yes the biggest blessing in our life is the Lord's love and mercy on us. His sacrifice for our sins. But he is a father and daddy's like to take care of their children. So if God bless' you with a home or something its not saying he doesn't bless others because they dont have a home. That is just the way God wanted to bless you and we have no idea how he plans to bless anyone else nor is it our business. We should not compare our blessings against others but recognize that God can and will bless people how he sees fit and we should be thankful for that.

Choices and the masses

What drives your decisions? For most of us its, well ourselves. "What's best for me" "what can I handle" "how will this make me look" "how will this make me feel" in a way I almost feel like these are word curses. In the fact that they stop us from thinking about God in your decisions. What does God want you to do and how does God want you to act? He has placed things in our lives for a reason and maybe even more than one. And its never just about us. We have the world to think about. In all honesty its true the whole world gets affected by our choices.
My husband becoming a cop doesn just change our family and friends but thousands! Our story as couple and as individuals has the potential to change thousands. Not that we are that cool but thats how life works. If you think about how many friends you have then how big your family is and you do that for each person you know. You'll be thinking of this for hours and never really find an end.

I dont say this to you to scare you when you make choices, but to inspire a more God like way of thinking. "How will this choice impact the kingdom of Heaven"

It's just a honda....

As I was driving to work this morning I saw a Honda that is just like one of my ex boyfriends. Now when we were dating I helped him pick out this car that he now has to this day. And is now his family car for him and his beautiful family. I chuckled and thought "wow, God how life changes" and a big life lesson is in that.

I think as human's we forget that our circumstances are not our life. Life changes all the time and whatever you are in right now is a season. Now reminders of this season may always be around like this car,but life will always be moving. And God will always be a constant in each season. For example iam now married to a man I love more than own life, we have a great life together,but when I picked out that car I thought I was going to be in that passenger seat for alot longer then I was. But his premises are new every morning. He knew that was just a season and how he was going to change and bless my life.

Today is my birthday....

Today is my birthday, iam 26. And instead of my normal need to feel spoiled today my feelings are ones of greatfulness! God has given me 26 years of life and a full one with amazing highs and the lowest of lows. But in everything he has been by my side loving me and shaping me for his plan. He has revealed a little more of his plan in the last few months and it exists me to no end to know he made me for such things! And he has given me the best support a person could ever ask for, a husband who is more than a girl could pray for then a family that loves me more than life and then my amazing friends that have turned into famliy! I want to thank everyone in my life! You have all helped me and supported me more than I could ever say! God is good and has blessed me! I LOVE my life:) Happy life/birthday to me! Lol

He will overcome....

Listening to Jeremy Camp on the way to work today and it was is song that talks about how Jesus is a overcomer and how we will overcome because of the blood of Christ. How blessed and true is this song!

No matter what or where you are in life you can and will overcome if you choose to give it to God, the overcomer! How amazing is this, God wants to take your hard times and worries and bless you with his love. 

Amen! God you are more than good to us! So no matter what you feel like you have to overcome today, lift it to Christ. Lift your relationship up to christ if it is going through hard times, lift your work day up to christ, lift your workout to christ, lift your life up to christ Jesus. He is YOUR overcomer!
